Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I cannot send an email with an attachment. The Yahoo page freezes and I have to Force Quit my Safari search engine to just get out of Yahoo. I have already sent a message but I can't find Yahoo or Email or any relevant key word under "Pick an Expert".

1) Go to your Applications folder (Macintosh HD/Applications)
2) Look for Safari
3) Right click on Safari (also known as ctrl+click) and select Get Info...
4) Check the box to use Safari in 32-bit mode
5) Try sending your e-mail with attachment again

If this works for you, the problem is that AT&T e-mail (Yahoo! e-mail) uses a plug-in that is not designed for 64-bit Safari but running this plug-in while Safari is running in 32-bit mode should work just fine. Just try the above and try sending your e-mail message with attachment and see if this works for you.

How do I turn browser off?

Safari is your browser. Force quit Safari and see if that helps.
Double tap the home button, look for your browser and slide up on the page. this should force quit the browser or any app you do this to.

Ever since I switched from PC to Mac, I cannot play any games on yahoo.com. Upon screen loading, it freezes and requires force quit. Any ideas?

make sure you have a latest version of flash, and you may also want to try a different browser like firefox or camino. you can download camino at Caminobrowser.org. I actually prefer it over safari, although I prefer safari over anything MS has ever created.

Safari page will not open

  1. Try Command-N.
  2. The window may be open but moved nearly out of view. Tap the F3 button, do you see a Safari Window?
  3. Safari may be frozen, from the Apple Menu go to Force Quit and see if Safari is listed, if so it may be red and say "Not Responding" Select it Force Quit, Confirm. Try reopening it now.
  4. Restart if all else fails.

Good Day Zoom66!

Mostly, inability to access certain buttons, pages freezing up and Yahoo crashing, is a sign of a weak internet browser. You need first to know what internet browser you are currently using. (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome are the most used internet browser)

Your internet browser is corrupted. And the best fix to solve your Yahoo mail problems is to upgrade your internet browser by installing a fresh and latest version.

Choose from the list below the most updated version of internet browser suited in your system.

Internet Explorer

Mozilla Firefox

Safari

Chrome

Download and please install in your system. Once you have installed it, run it and access Yahoo! mail. To access yahoo mail instantly,
go to https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?.intl=us&.src=ym

Zoom66, please add comments later if this will not solve your problem so I can give you further solution.
Please give a thumbs up rating and click the YES button below if this will help you.
Thank you for asking Fixya.

Yahoo Mail search not working on Mac using latest Safari

Problem doesn't have anything to do with your browser, and everything to do with your choice of free Mail provider. Yahoo's Mail search regularly breaks, and you need to contact them and get them to do a "vespa sync" on your account. Try the Help -> Contact Us section of their website.
