To import data from a FoxPro database, use the Microsoft Visual FoxPro ODBC driver. To do so, follow these steps:
1) Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2) In Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools.
3) In the Administrative Tools window, double-click Data Sources (ODBC), and then add a new ODBC data source for your FoxPro database or tables by selecting the appropriate Visual FoxPro driver.
4) Start Access, and then open your Access database. 5) On the File menu, point to Get External Data, and then click Import. 6) In the Import dialog box, click ODBC Databases in the Files of type list. 7) In the Select Data Source dialog box, click the Visual FoxPro data source that you created in step 3, and then click OK. 8) In the Import Objects dialog box, click the tables that you want to import, and then click OK.

This applies to Tally 7.2 and above.
1. You can export only registers and not masters
2. In any view register mode the export / import option becomes availble.
3. Click export.
4. Tally prompts you for a file name. The default name is always Tally.txt.
5. Pl rename the file to represent the ledger you are exporting else Tally will over write an existing file.
6. Tally will always save the file in the same drive / folder where Tally data resides. You cannot change this.
7. The file saved is the CSV file.
8. Open this file with Excel and map the fields.

Download Visula Foxpro 7/9

You cannot download Foxpro 7 either as a trial or free version.  You may be able to pick up a copy on eBay  If you are trying to get a program to work which requires Foxpro 7, you may get away with just having the runtime files.  You can download the version 7 runtimes here: http://www.alexnolan.net/runtime/
