http://alarmsellout.com/support/diagrams/vehicle/DODGE%20CHARGER%202006.pdf NOTE *1 and *2 this vehicle requires a Special Circuit that requires (2) Relays and (2) Resistors, Starter #2 requires a (-)Negative thru a 180 Ohm Resistor and Accessory requires a (-)Negative thru a 610 Ohm Resistor, these circuits must be used for the vehicle to Remote Start, to connect, See DIAGRAM NOTE *3 this vehicle uses a 1-Wire Door Locking System, LOCK requires a (-)Negative thru a 330 Ohm Resistor and UNLOCK requires a (-)Negative thru a 100 Ohm Resistor, some units will also require 2 extra relays, to connect, See DIAGRAM NOTE *4 the DRIVERS DOOR is a PURPLE (-) wire in the WHITE plug Pin 3, the PASSENGER DOOE is a PURPLE/WHITE (-) in the WHITE plug Pin 3. the DRIVERS REAR DOOR is a PURPLE/GRAY (-) in the GRAY 26 Pin plug, Pin 10 and the PASSENGER REAR DOOR is a PURPLE/YELLOW (-) in the GRAY 26 Pin plug, Pin 9. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTME, use all 4 DOOR TRIGGER wires and DIODE ISOLATE, to connect, See DIAGRAM NOTE *5 the REAR HATCH RELEASE will require a (-)Negative thru a 4700 Ohm Resistor and a extra Relay Part #R30-H, to connect, See DIAGRAM NOTE *6 to turn on the parking Lights on this vehicle will require a (-) Negative thru a 2700 Ohm and may also require a #R30-H Relay, to connect See DIAGRAM. click on this link below for more details:-- http://www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/2006-2007/Dodge/Charger/384.html
The ignition wire and starter wire are common at the ignition switch when the key is OFF or when the key is turned to be ON position.When installing the remote starter this could cause the starter to engage When the ignition wire is power up or cause the starter to come ON momentarily when the ignition key is turned ON in remote start.The solution is to add a relay to isolate the 2-wires during remote start. Be sure to connect your remote starters start output to the side of the relay going to the solenoid or the car will not crank during remote start. check fig:--
