Yes, that is correct, the 1013f is in the same series as the 120.

You can install it as you were trying, or get the latest driver here: http://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/rc2/model/x12_13/x12_13en.htm#Microsoft%20Windows%20Vista

I have a Ricoh 1013F and I want to make it part of my network so that the other two laptops in the building can print wireless. How can I do this?

You can use a wireless printerserver.
I use the D-Link DPR-2000 multi-port wireless printerserver, this works perfect. It also supports WPA security and wireless scanning, simultanously from 3 printers
There are also cheaper devices, like a Belkin printerserver, that however doesn't support scanning/faxing and is a bit difficult on networks with WPA encryption.

Print function is not working properly. I have a Ricoh Afcicio 1013F. It prints a few pages then has an error msg.

Does the machine copy okay? If you copy several pages, do they all come out normally, or do you get an error message like when you print?

What is the error message that shows up? If the machine prints a few pages before the error comes up, and it works fine when you are copying, the problem is likely either with your network or with the application you are trying to print from. Depending on what the error message says, it will help to isolate the problem.

It could also be the print driver itself. You can go to Ricoh-USA.com to the Downloads section and either update or reinstall the print driver if nothing else works.

My Ricoh Aicio 1013F is showing a duplicate shadow on the copy.

This is almost always the hot roller and/or the pressure roller bushings in the fusing unit. The Hot roller in this model is rated for 90,000 copies, but they commonly fail earlier than that. The pressure roller bushings also wear as they are made of plastic. If you can drag your finger across one of your copies, and the toner doesn't stick to the paper, then you definitely need bushings.

Check how many copies you have by press the "user tools/counter" button in the upper left of the control panel. You should see the word "counter" on the display. Press the "OK" button near the display; this will show you your copy count. If you are near the 75 to 80,000 mark (or multiples there of [150- to 160,000, etc.]), I'd say it's time to replace the hot roller.

Unless you are certified to work on these machines, you would need to get a service technician to do this. These particular machines are more difficult than some of the larger models, and I definitely would not suggest anybody try this repair unless they know exactly what they are doing.

I have option to buy ricoh 1013F copier i need it to be wireless

If you already have wireless setup easiest way is to purchase a wireless bridge, gives you wireless connection with hard wired port to connect to the copier. Configure the bridge to same wireless settings as your network and plug cat5 cable from machine to bridge setup print driver and you are golden,

Hope this helps,

How can I print from Tray 2 on Ricoh Aficio 1013F

It needs to be added within the printer driver.
In The Printers/faxes dialog box, "right click" the "Aficio 1013F", click "properties" click the "accessories" (or "change accessories") button, and add tray 2 as an option, Click "apply", and exit the utility, now you can manually select tray 2 when printing.

sounds to me you are using the "wrong driver" double check the driver and the OS you are using.

I would also turn the printer off and clear all print jobs from the print que and restart. After loading the new driver do a test page from the driver.
