If your had backed up your Favorites to a bookmark.htm file, you could restore them.

The only way to retrieve them is to perform System Restore. But, ALL your files would be restored to a certain date, so copy your important files, first.

Use System Restore ONLY if those Favorites were of extreme importance, since there is always a risk with System Restore.

Hope this helps.

  • Hi there,

To restore your iPhone back to factory settings complete the following steps:

    1) Press the "Home" button on your iPhone, and tap the "Settings" icon on the main screen.

  • 2) Tap the "General" tab, and tap the "Reset" tab.

  • 3) Tap "Reset All Settings" to restore the iPhone to its default settings. Tap "Erase All Content and Settings" to restore the iPhone to its original factory settings, which erases all of your information including bookmarks, SMS messages, contacts and music.

  • 4) Tap "Erase iPhone" to confirm the action.

Hope to have been of assistance,

I have lost the file,edit,view,history,bookmarks,tools,help...toolbars..i don't know how i get them all back..

That is the browser "menu bar", with dropdown menus for various tasks.

If the menu bar does not display, press the "Alt" key (if you are using Windows). That will restore the menu bar temporarily. You may then proceed to restore it permanently, by going to the menu bar and selecting: View > Toolbars > Menu bar

I will like to retrieve my google bookmarks

Try to navigate to this path:

    C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\{something}.default

In that last folder with a string of characters ending in .default, you may find a bookmarks.html file or a bookmarks.bak file. Those are normally your latest bookmark file and its backup. If the .html file doesn't exist or if it is zero (or near zero) bytes, then it has been lost or corrupted somehow. Hopefully, your .bak file is fine. You can simply double click on it to load it in your default browser to check it out. Make a backup of it somewhere else safe. Then change the extension from .bak to .html and launch Firefox. About Google search history, I can't help, but I think that Google maintains some of that data on its own servers that you can access if you have signed up for it -- go to My Account > Web History. Your local browser history is different and is stored locally by Firefox.

    If this helps, please rate.

    Thank you

The Firefox "navigation toolbar" includes the "back", "forward", "reload" buttons, and the address bar (where you type a web address). If the navigation bar does not display, go to the menu bar and select:
View > Toolbars > Navigation toolbar

The Firefox "bookmarks toolbar" displays frequently used bookmarks. If the bookmark toolbar does not display, go to the menu bar and select:
View > Toolbars > Bookmarks toolbar

I disabled my book mark and tools bar ,how do i restore it on firefox, vista

Replace your current bookmarks with a backup copy by opening the Firefox 3 Library window and using the "Restore" feature ("Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Restore..." ). You can select one of the five dated backups that Firefox automatically creates or you can use the "Choose File..." option to select another bookmark backup file

    Thank you

Retrieving deleted history from windows Vista?

System Restore can make changes to Windows system files, registry settings, and programs installed on your computer. It also can make changes to scripts, batch files, and other types of executable files on your computer. Personal files, such as documents, e‑mail, photos, and music files, are not changed.

That is from Microsoft. I think History or Passwords and Form Filled items are stored in the registry, but visited sites are not. So a system restore may give you your saved passwords for sites but not the bookmarks to those sites
