Most Dell computers of that era have on-board video, you have to enter the BIOS and set it to AGP to use an add-on card.

On boot up I have no video display on my dell optiplex 330

It could be one of two things, either your monitor is bad or the video card is bad. Try taken connecting your monitor to a different computer. If the monitor works then it the video card. You could just purchase a new video card and put in and it should work

Dell optiplex light turns orange

Does anything ever post on the screen when you hit the power button?

Maybe the monitor is bad or the video card inside the computer is bad. Normally if the video card is bad the monitor will display a message of No Signal. If you are getting no message then I think your monitor is bad. To isolate the problem you need to put another monitor on the computer.

Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, family member or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed Monitor displays and works, then your original monitor is bad. If the Borrowed monitor does the same as the original monitor then your video card is bad.

Non display for Dell Optiplex GX110?

Either your monitor is bad or the video card inside the computer is bad. To isolate the problem try a different monitor on the computer. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker. If the borrowed monitor works, then your original monitor is bad. If the Borrowed monitor does not work, then the video card inside your computer is bad.

I have a dell optiplex gx260, without ram it beeps 6 times, with ram it doesnt beep. Power light is steady green and MoBo light is steady amber in both cases. Does it mean the PSU

Try another monitor or video card if it has a separate video card. If it does have a separate video card remove it and attach monitor cable to 15 pin VGA plug integrated on the system brd.

My monitor doesnt work while my cpu does

Try connecting the monitor to another desktop/laptop, to see if the monitor still works.

Try connecting another monitor to your computer,
to see if the video-card on your computer is producing any output.

Using dual monitors on a Dell Optiplex GX260

You cant.. Unless the nvidia card you added has two video OUTs. Plugging in a aftermarket card causes the motherboard to disable the onboard video..
If your nvidia card has two "outs" then you can use two monitors... most newer nvidia cards support this. sometimes it requires an adaptor, but usually it was included in the box

Video card onboard

Did you mean HGX 260?. Her is the download page for the GX 260. Natually you will have to turn back on the "on board" video in the BIOS . If this video driver doesn't work, all you have to do is rool back the driver nothing lost.
