Getting a blurry E-7 code when I insert strip to my accu chek instant

"E-7" in the display means an electronic error occurred or, in rare cases, a used test strip was removed and reinserted. Turn the meter off and on or take the battery out for 20 seconds and reinsert it. Perform a blood glucose or control test. If the problem persists, please contact Accu-Chek Customer Care.

Could I have a bad batch of strips? I have used around 15 over the past three days and each time get the E-1

Possibly an Accu-Chek question although this is just a guess searching the internet using https://www.google.com

https://www.accu-chek.com/meters/aviva-meter/support-error-screens

"E-1" in the display means the test strip may be damaged or the code key isincorrect. Remove and reinsert the test strip. If the message reappears, turn off themeter and make sure the code key is properly inserted. If the message reappears, please contact Accu-Chek Customer Care

My accu-check performa blood glucose meter is not working It shows E-1 on the screen. How do i reset it

The E-1 error usually indicates that the test strip is damaged or improperly inserted. Try removing the test strip and replacing it. Try a different test strip. Open a new box of test strips and try using one from the new box.

I hope this helps. You can find the manual for the Accu-Chek Performa on the product page: https://www.accu-chek.com.au/meter-systems/performa . The direct link to the manual is currently https://www.accu-chek.com.au/download/file/fid/16491 . The error messages and trouble-shooting are to the right-hand side of the page. You will need to scroll a bit.

Please tell me what the code E-5 means. It shows up on my accu-chek compact plus meter

The information you need is in the reference guide for your meter.

The reference guide can be downloaded from
https://www.accu-chek.co.uk/gb/products/metersystems/compactplusgt.html > Related Products

if you have the blue/silver front version (and probably also if you have black version) of the meter, E-5 means
"The measurement optics are dirty or you

have inserted a test strip that has already

been used or is too old. Clean the

measurement optics (Chapter 7.1) and

repeat the test with a new Accu-Chek
Active Glucose test strip."
