HI there

I would not advice you to run it directly since the mains voltage of Europe and USA are different.

Please always run the drive with a voltage stabilizer.

You can check underneath the drive to read more information about the voltage capacity of the drive

Good day.

Input voltage?

Input voltage is an electrical characteristic of the electricity coming from your wall outlet and into your appliance. It depends on your location in the world. In the US for example it is 110V 60Hz. In Europe it's 220V 50Hz.

Work cordless uniden 220v

With a suitable voltage transformer, yes.

Are you asking about an AT&T 1855 or about a Uniden phone? Some Uniden phones are dual-voltage, they'll work either with 110V or 220V.

Sony STR-DE575 connected to 220V

Doubt the main pcb needs replacing, but the standby transformer would definitely go in that situation. Standby transformer wouldn't be that expensive, but no way to say that it's the only thing that is bad. It is also soldered in, so you would need to know how to do that to replace it, or bring it to someone who could. If you're staying long-term in Europe, it might just be better to buy something local so as to not run into this problem again.

Whirlpool electric dryer 220V bought in USA and brought it to Europe Serbia. I was told that USA 220V and Europe 220V is not same. I did not plug it in yet can someone tell me what to do. Thanks

the voltage is approximately the same, the difference is the frequency of incoming power as power delivered in the USA is at 60 Hz. and power in Europe is at 50Hz. so some electronic parts will not operate on this frequency, you might be able to purchase a power/frequency inverter unit but not sure on this, talk to your power provider as they may have the answer to this

Kitchen aid stand mixer bought in US, moving to Europe, 220v 50hz

I can not respond to the warranty issues. My kitchen aid mixer is past warranty as well. I live in a country that uses 220V and my kitchen aid mixer is 110V. I have been using my kitchen aid mixer for almost 4 years with no problems at all.

The converter boxes are supposed to blow the fuse on the converter before it reaches your appliance and cause any problems.

If you purchase a 220V kitchen aid (although it would cost more money) it would probably have more power because of the higher voltage.

Hope this helps!

Please check Input Voltage 110 ~ 240 volts AC at rear or bottm side of unit. If same is written there, its Auto Voltage Operatable and can be use on 220Volts.

Power input switch to 220V?

This is a bit of a guess, but a lot of "switching" power supplies are capable of using anything from 97 to 230 volts without using a switch to pre-set what you are going to plug them in to. That is a guess about why there is no switch, and if I'm right, it is likely that the capacitors in the power supply are...were...strong enough to survive with American voltage, but 220 is a bit too strong for their age. The repair requires parts and soldering.

I'd like to know the real answer if you eventually get it fixed. Please post it here.

Can you use a xbox 360 european power brick (220v) on a USA xbox 360 in europe

If you do you will damage the internal components and it will break. Do not try it.
