Question about Televison & Video
There are two possibilities in that problem, either remote control is defective or remote sensor located at tv front got bad.
Lets test remote to narrow down the problem.
Get a digital camera or mobile phone camera and watch remote front through that camera, press few buttons on remote, you will see infra red light blinking on remote control watching through camera. Our eyes can not see infra red light but camera can sens it.
If your remote shows blinking light on its front when pressing any button then remote is good and remote sensor on tv front is bad, replace it to fix the issue.
If remote front does not show any blinking light while pressing any button then remote is bad, new remote is needed.
Hope these info will help you.
