Mcdevito75 here, Maybe the new mouse is not regognised, try this, Double check instalation of batteries in mouse, Now press the button on the reciever Looks like a piece of bent tin and has a button onit thet says connect, Now press the button on tje mouse Red Button bottom of mouse and wait 20 seconds Now press connect button again on reciever then press button under the keyboard. Your mouse should now work, (fingers crossed).

There are three possible causes for it to not work.
Starting with the worst.

1. The item is dead from the factory.
(The only solution is to return it.)
2. The battery is in wrong or dead.
3. There is a very tiny switch on the bottom of the mouse, try flipping it to the other position.

Good luck, I hope it is either 2 or 3.

Wireless mouse

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When the program asks you to connect the Mouse Receiver to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

Wireless mouse

A wireless mouse consists of a mouse and a receiver. The receiver plugs into a USB port and should immediately work. To use the special features of the mouse such as the additional buttons you must install the driver software. Sometimes you will have to press the sync button on the receiver to communicate with the mouse. You should have a receiver that plugs into your usb or your ps/2 mouse port and then your wireless mouse connects via infrared to the receiver. Plug it in and hit the sync buttons. It's wireless so it most likely has a USB receiver, just plug that into the USB slot (it's about 1/2 an inch wide) on the back or side, and then depending on the mouse it might have a connect button or a reset. If it came with a disk you should insert that first.
