Could be but before that check if settings are working. Set the freezer settings to coolest and see if cools. If ok, set to desired temp.

My ice machine manitowoc q 132a starts up stops after few seconds while water pump start

There is a high pressure switch that stops the unit running if a fan fails or the condenser is clogged. Next time you start the ice machine, watch the bottom led on the pcb. It will tell you if there is a fault. Meantime, reset the hp switch and clean the condenser thoroughly.

Unit cools properly but after 5 minutes of operation unit trips breaker

First and easiest thing to check is the rear coil. It is commonly called the condenser coil, it is located under the cover, and the rear fan blows through it to the outdoors. It kind of looks like a small radiator, and it releases the heat. IF the coil is stopped up, the fan cannot blow through it to release the heat. It is usually stopped up with dirt, cotton wood , etc. To inspect the condenser coil, yo will have to pull the cover off the unit and look through the rear fan blade. You can wash this coil out with a hose and sprayer, just be sure not to get the motor wet.

Second, if you have an amp meter, check the amp draw of the air conditioner. There is a tag on the unit that will tell you the RLA or running load amps. The total amp draw of the unit should be 10 % or so less than the RLA. You could possibly have a bad circuit breaker.

Air conditioner compressor will not start. When power is applied to the air conditioning outdoor unit the fan starts, but you hear a sound like the compressor is trying to start, "UGGG"..., for about 5 to 10 seconds and then all you hear is the outdoor condenser fan run. The compressor is locked and will not start. What is happening is the compressor is trying to start, but because the compressor motor is locked it tries to start for a few seconds and then because of the high amperage being drawn goes off on internal overload. The internal overload protects the compressor windings from overheating and burning up. I see this many times during the start of the air conditioning season.

You amy ahave a bvad capacitor on the outside unit. It starts the fan and the compressor. You can change this yourself. Open the outside panel and you will see a silver canister with terminals out the top. Replace this and I think your problem will go away. On the cap. it will say something like 30uf 5uf 370 ot 440 Just get these numbers and get a new one. Russ

Amana Cooling Condensing Unit fan won't kick on

be aware that not repairing this asap that you are causing yourself more problems First I would change out the fan capacitor and see if this could be the problem. Secondly if the capacitor isn,t the problem change out the motor . By continuing to allow the system to cycle like this the compressor will take a dive on you costing more . Good Luck

After moving my Fridge a few feet the compressor motor runs for a few seconds then stops for for 5 to 10 minutes please help Howard

check outr the back of the refrigerator. there should be a poanel that has the compressor and the fan covered towards the bottom of the back. take off and see if you somehow pulled wires loose on the unit or if something is now hitting the condenser fan blade causing it to not cool the condenser off.

Compressor Stopping

compressor is running overloaded possible problems bad relay/overload /capacitor dirty or clogged condensers if the unit uses a condenser fan suspect a bad fan. and defective thermostats are notorious for short cycling. id check the coils first and if dirty clean up maybe that can be the major problem.

Clicking from Condenser

I would have to say it's your fan going out, also if the units aren't fixed the the DD should come out and fix it for free since it wasn't done the first time. I would take a look at it but I don't know where in florida you are. I'm in highlands county. If your close enough I could come take a look. If there's clicking coming from your condenser then it's one of two things, the compressor or the fan. hopefully the fan. let me know.
