Login to the router, with the current password, and then change it.

Or, turn the router off.
Straighten one end of a Norwegian paper-clip, and insert the end into the small hole in the back of the router, to completely reset the router to its "factory" settings. Then, you can start again to configure the router.

Erasing the Configuration

After an erase, the router's user name is admin, the password is password, the LAN IP address is 192.168.1.1 (or www.routerlogin.net), and its DHCP server is enabled.

• To erase the configuration, click the Erase button in the Backup Settings screen.

My wireless is not picking up my router, but works when plugged in. It detects other wireless networks and worked fine with this router up until now.

Try resetting the router. This WILL ERASE your current settings, wireless password, etc. But is likely to fix your problem.
On the back of your router there should be a "reset" button. You'll probably need a pen or something long and skinny to press the button with. Hold down Reset button for 5 seconds.
Give it a minute or two, then you should see the wireless network appear. It will be a different name then it was before, and you need to re-setup your router configuration, to change the network name and the wireless password.

Finding password for belkin router

do you forget your password or what well try either of thesee. hope it works
  1. Connect the computer to one of the four LAN ports on the router.
  2. Open a web browser on the computer.
  3. In the address bar of the web browser, type http://192.168.2.1
  4. Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the page. The router does not ship with a password, so just click Submit.
Click on System Settings under Utilities on the left-hand side of the opened page
  1. You will see a feature called, "Administrator Password". Type in your current password
  2. Click "Apply Changes". Your new password is now active.

Do not forget the new password and keep it somewhere safe. If you forget your password, you'll be unable to access your router's settings. If you forget or lose your password, you'll need to perform a hardware reset on the router. This will reset the password to its default, as well as erase any and all other settings you may have changed.

Cant remember wireless password

there 2 things you can do besides trying to remember what key was used

1.go into your router's configuration page and check under wirelesssecurity, if the password is not hidden you may still be able to see itand use it to connect to your router and go online with it

2. ifyou can't access your router's configuration page, you may have toreset your router to factory defaults which will allow you to accessyour router's configuration page and then re-set security andpassword/key/passcode that you will notated or that you will remember

your manual should guide your through the process for 1 or 2.
here's the page to access your manual, (first find out what version of the unit is the one you have, (check at the bottom of your router to find out) and go to the documentation section. once you are looking at the manual go into the wireless security section and troubleshooting

fyi:

You can erase the current configuration and
restore factory defaults in two ways:
• Use the Erase function of the router (see “Erasing the Configuration” on page 6-7 of your manual (link is found above)
• Use the restore factory settings button on the rear panel of the router. Use this method for cases
when the administration password or IP address is not known.
To restore the factory default configuration settings when you do not know the administration
password or IP address, you must use the restore settings button on the rear panel of the router.
1. Press and hold the restore settings button for 10 seconds.
2. Release the restore settings button, and wait for the router to reboot.

for more info refer to your manual and post back if you have further questions.

good luck!

hope that helps.

I dont know the pass code...?

the simplest way is by restoring the default configuration and then reconfigure the passcode.

You can erase the
current configuration and restore factory defaults in two ways:

• Use the Erase function of the router (see “Erasing the Configuration” on page 6-7).
• Use the Default Reset button on the rear panel of the router. Use this method for cases when
the administration password or IP address is not known.

To restore the factory default configuration settings without knowing the administration password

or IP address, you must use the Default Reset button on the rear panel of the router.
1. Press and hold the Default Reset button until the power light blinks on (about 10 seconds).
2. Release the Default Reset button and wait for the router to reboot.
If the wireless router fails to restart or the power light continues to blink or turns solid amber,
the unit may be defective. If the error persists, you might have a hardware problem and should
contact technical support.
