Question about NetGear WGT624 Router
> when the router decided to make it my default browser ...
Huh? This makes no sense.
Turn the router off.
Straighten one end of a Norwegian paper-clip, and insert the end into the small hole in the back of the router, and hold it for 30 seconds. This will "reset" the router back to its "factory" settings, so that you can start again to configure it.
