First reinstall the drivers for your device and later scan for registery errors with a programme like tuneup utilities. below is a link to my files folder.
look for the file name driver pack and download that. extract it and read the text file in it for guidance. good luck and fill free to download any other programme in the folder which i do update from time to time.

I have installed Windows 7 on my Hp 6602au. It worked fine for a couple of months , till yesterday . Suddenly I lost audio from my laptop. The message near audio icon showed "No Audion Output Device...

Run a Windows Update, check to see if there is an updated audio driver, if not go into the device manager and remove all of the audio devices, reboot.

That should resolve your issue.

Let me know if it doesn't ;)

I have lenovo y500, suddenly i lost my audio device after formating my notebook, every time shows no audio device. plz help me how can i solve it.

Your audio device is likely DSP based, and not actual hardware. You should be able to find the driver at lenovo.com. Once installed, then your audio device(s) should be detected and ready to use.

Suddenely audio gone from desktop

check your audio properties through control panel and make sure your settings are what they should be for your system. There are tools in that area for testing your devices as well.

Computer is suddenly saying there is no audio device ??

If you just downloaded the Audio driver from EMachines site for that model....when you installed it...there should have been a notice about putting a folder in drive C stating that the installer will give you 2 folders, 1 for new driver and 1 for default driver.....Try and see if there is such a folder in your drive C directory and find a Driver folder...should be near top of directory. The actual exe install icon will be in the Audio driver folder.
If all is well with your onboard audio this may be the problem.....but how did the sound stop working in the first place.......could be bad.
If bad or cant fix...I would just put in a aftermarket sound card in one of the pci slots.

Depending on your pc it sounds like you just had either a new version of windows put on your pc or you recently wiped it. You need new drivers downloaded for your sound card if you do not still have the drivers disk that came with your pc try to google search a download,
