It's practically impossible: they aren't sold as parts and to replace it you must use a heatgun and with it any mistake will literally fry the motherboard. If you have problems with it then just disable it from the BIOS and install a simple PCI sound card.

it would be cheaper to just replace the screen. The cost of the IC and equipment to install it again would cost way more and also would require to program the chip and the codes are almost impossible to get

60PL9200D/37 TV picture problem

Sounds like one or both of your IC chips burnt out. You will need to replace them. A good place to purchase high quality IC chips is careful there are a lot of fakes out there that don't last and cost you more money in the long run.

There is no sound from my speakers

Dose the green LED light up at the front ? . If it does not its a power supply issue. You must have burnt the transformer in the power supply unit. If the light lights up ans there is no sound it could be the Amplifier Chip (IC ) problem. This will involve soldering and desoldering work not to mention procuring the IC.Cos wise the IC just cost about 3$ ans the transformer about 7$.

I got a free WS-55819 tv because overtime the red fades to the left and causes a 3-D effect but if I tap the top of the unit it comes right back. I have tried to aline the colors but the red will only move...

I am the right person for you to talk to. I know these sets very well--ws-55819 uses two of the STK-392-570 convergence chips.

What I have seen happen in dozens of these is one of the chips develops internal connection problems--resoldering the pins on the bottom of the board will not fix this.

If the set is working you can get a pair of the chips and almost everything else to do this repair for about 30 dollars total.

I have fixed hundreds of these sets with this kind of problem.

The instructions tell you everything you will need and how to do the repair from start to finish.

This is a HD set and cost a lot of money when new--if you want the instructions and where to get the parts let me know. I am here to help--by the way--do not burn pressed wood--it contains nasty chemicals like formaldehyde.

If this information has helped you and you want the information rate this solution as I do this here for free.

Fix terrible sound on 19'' B-OPD LCD TV?

sound in a tv comes first from the tuner box    the components in it are so small and bad soldering is common  the tuner if removable may need to be replaced or re-soldered... if it is part of the main board an adventurous person could try to re-solder it using a magnifying glass   otherwise if it is an audio ic that is the problem  they can sound very bad if it is clipping the signal which likely would be in the circuit leading to the chip and likely not the ic itself

Toshiba big screen The tv is like double exposed . I have a toshiba big screen tv and I have double images in red and green. How do I fix this problem?

This is likely your convergence ICs(chips). If you can bump it then the ICs (chips) are still ok, it just needs resoldering.
my company charges $300-400 for the full repair (replacing ICs, full realignment plus cleaning)
if you can find a company that will resolder for you, it could cost $100-200 maybe. if you are a handy person with soldering skills, you could repair yourself. i can instruct if needed, but convergence IC soldering requires decent soldering skills. you will find the ICs on the largest heatsink in the tv. the part number starts with STK. if you replace them, check the resistors in front of them and replace accordingly. most toshiba will blow up to 3 fuses (f850, f851, f852)

Sony KV-34HS510 blink codes

I would question that diagnosis, Did you get it online somewhere or did you have a tech check your B+ voltages ?
6 blinks is almost always caused by 2 chips on the "D board", they are both marked MCZ3001D you can order them here if you are a consumer not a tech 800-575-9833. Not to say that the jungle IC & those 2 caps couldn`t cause a dead set symptom but these 2 IC`s are notorious for the 6 blink code, I have personally fixed approx. 10 sony sets with the 6 blink code with those IC`s, hope this helps
