Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Answer It's my ATT.net email I can't view at home... But I can see that I have it at work. I was just wondering if it was possible my problem is related to my signing up for a Yahoo email as well. That seems to be when the problem started.

When you use outlook you make one of the email adresses your default. If you go send and receive than select all accounts.
This should enable you to view it. you can also make you outlook express your email viewer for your ATT.net acount

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to get emails imprted from prev. att.yahoo email address

There is no way other than fowarding all to your new address. You dont have to use that e-mail address as your primary e-mail, it is given mostly as a member ID so youncan log in and view your account.

I want my e-mail address to stay at dlhealey@att.net and now it's healeydot@yahoo.com....PLEASE HELP me get back to my original e-mail address....

Thanks for visiting FixYa.

Users of att.net have had their email rerouted to Yahoo. Email sent to your att.net address should be automatically forwarded to your new Yahoo account.

I'm going to send you a TEST email to your dlhealey@att.net email account. Look for it as TEST email. If you receive it, you can continue to use your att.net email address without a problem.

I want to bounce certain emails back to sender. I tried email washer service, would not work on att.net/yahoo email at all. I want it to say that there is no such email account to those I block

I am affraid, that this is only configurable on mailserver. You can redirect emails from those blocked users to trash, but there is no possibility to send back bounced msg like "account doesn't exist".

Signed for ATT.net account, why yahoo now? not getting mails.

ATT.net creates a new Yahoo account for you when you sign up for their service. You now have a Yahoo account that can be accessed with the ladyg.....@att.net as the user and whatever your ATT pass is.

It is possible to merge the new account with the old account:

http://helpme.att.net/article.php?item=485

The article states that you can only merge only during the registration process, but I believe this to be false.

I no longer have ATT, but there was an option to merge a Yahoo account while managing your ATT information (I belive this is accessible from your ATT home page). ATT should be able to assist you with that regardless of whether you merged during the registration process or not.
