Coleman digital watch 40-607 how do I set the time

Read your instruction booklet that came with the watch. If you don't have it, either google the brand and search their site for the model OR take to your local jeweler that works on watches. Expect to pay them to set it.

This looks like a very old Cascio watch. If you REALLY want it to work be prepared for expensive troubleshooting by the Cascio shop.

Make sure the battery is placed underneath the small copper clip (positive lead) inside, else the circuit isn't complete. It's pretty easy to clothes the battery casing with it above the lead and not even notice it.

Cant reset my watch, currently in perth which is 3 hours behind sydney, woul like to have at least the analogue side set to perth time

If you read the instructions you should be able to set your watch so that it reads tha correct time for Perth (on my watch this is achieved by pressing the mode button to enter "world time" - three letters indicating the reference city- and then press the button at 4 oclock to scroll through the alternatives; the setting should be BKK for your time zone)

If you haven't got instructions on how, you can get
instructions from the Casio web site.

Go to the casio web site "casio.com".

Select "support" and the "manuals",
watches;

Accept terms

Select "watch manual archive"

Read the number of the back of your watch and enter it into the search box

Setting analogue time on a Crane & Viceroy Radio controlled watch

I haven't been able to locate your watch but since watches tend to be similar in operation, I suggest that you look at the instructions for my watch and try a similar settings.

Go to "http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw2735.pdf" and instructions for a Casio watch will appear. Go to page 4 and read instructions under "to adjust analogue time".

you're not supposed to change the time at certain times if it is an automatic. I think any time after 8pm and before 4am (but check your manual). Apparently it messes up the mechanism. Maybe that's the issue?
