Question about Audiovox PVS21090 9" TV/DVD Combo
was it playing DVD discs before now?
I suspect that the laser (lens) is defective that's why it not loading DVD discs. This maybe as a result of dust being on the lens, or the lens is no longer sharp. That is, the lens may have worn out, thereby not having the capacity of loading DVD discs. It takes a very sharp and active lens to play DVD discs.
Get a lens cleaner and use it to clean the lens. If that doesn't solve the problem, then it means you need to replace the lens.
Let your attention focus on the laser (lens) because that's where the fault is coming from.
