What browser are you using? did you install any addon to the browser or a software that syncs your information?
if not then then try other browsers to see if the same result will appear since this could idicate an error from the browser which i assume is the default internet explorer.
list of web browsers to try are: opera, firefox, safari, maxtor, chrome just to name a few. download from the web and try any. should the problem persist which i doubt if you try a different browser then scan for registry errors.
