Question about Kenmore Elite 45986 Front Load Washer
Most times the F11 is the motor control unit, (MCU) in the bottom near the motor. There is a communication problem between the MCU and the central control unit, (CCU) located at the top. It can be a poor connection in the 3 wire MI3 harness on the CCU or at the MCU. Other possibilities are interference from other things plugged into the same outlet as the washer. I must be on a circuit by itself. If the error occurs almost as soon as you start the washer it can be the CCU but if it runs for a while it can be the MCU. This code is not a easy slam dunk to diagnose.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
