I have a hunter fan which operates using remote contraol part #85095-01. Recently, the remote has stopped operating the fan's light. The fan operates by remote, but I cannot turn the light off.

you need to replace the receiver. I ran across this problem at a customer's house and replaced it. It's located at the top in the canopy where the wires connect at.

Hi. my name is mercedes and I have a hunter fan....and the remote is not working

If you checked the battery in the trans. and it's good then you need to replace your receiver which is located in the canopy where your power is hooked up for the fan.

I have a hunter ceiling fan model number 25357-380 and recently when we have had a power glitch the fan's lights flash and the remote wont work. Can you explain what we need to do to resolve these...

The receiver located in the fan has failed. (This was a fairly common occurrence when I
worked for a major improvement store). Here is the technical/parts number for Hunter fan
(901) 248-2259 The website is www.hunterfan.com I hope this helps.

Hunter fan with pull switch - has high spped and low speed but no medium. How do I fix this?

Try replacing the pull switch which is located under light attachment on bottom of fan. If no light it is under cap located on bottom of fan. You can purchase this switch at Lowes or WalMart.

Hunter ceiling fan remote 85095-01 stopped working

it also could be one of the the jumpers fell out of the remote
they are located just above the battery. you will need to match the placement of the jumpers with the receiver mounted in the fan.

Hunter remote controlled cieling fan does nothing when turned on

I don't believe there is a fuse in a Hunter Fan. Have you checked your breakers or the wall switch? Make sure you have power up to the fan.

Hunter 3 speed ceiling fan now turns slowly

Probably a bad capacitor. What model is it? If it completely wireless (in other words: no pull chains for light or fan) the capacitor is located on the receiver for the fan (in the canopy or the lower switch housing). Unless you are handy with a soldering iron, it is easier to purchase a replacement receiver.

Unfortunatly that is a common thing with most manufactorers now a days! they are not in the service industry. make it, sell it, dump it, make a new one. and the cycle goes on and on. You may be able to find a repair person who can fix the fans for you at a reasonable cost.
