May I know whether the Computer is supplied with the Internal Bluetooth adapter? If yes, please turn ON the Bluetooth switch or Wireless switch in the Computer. You can change the Bluetooth settings from the Operating System provided Bluetooth software. Please open the Control Panel to view the Bluetooth application.

To use bluetooth software you need to have bluetooth capable hardware. The software drivers you will need to install depend on your computer's make and model. If you can supply this to me, I can give you more detailed information.

How to activate Dell vostro bluetooth

1) Install the bluetooth driver provided for your system. It will ask you to activate bluetooth by pressing fn+f2 key (this won’t work).
2) You manually have to install the software for the driver.
Note: some of you may have already installed the drivers but just cannot start the connection. So there is a problem in the software and not the driver.
For installation of the software follow these steps.
3) Go to your driver installation directory (ex. C:\dell\drivers) then you find which driver you installed for your bluetooth.
4) Then you find your system you are running (a 32 bit or a 64 bit) it will written as win32 or win64.
5) Then you find the installation file. Then install the application and it will be all ready once again.
P.s. don’t forget to turn your Bluetooth adapter on after you install the software.

Connect ACER Aspire 5100 w/ nokia 3120 , using

It is very simple provided that your system has a Bluetooth, and you have a very recent Nokia PC Suite, preferrably from version 7.1.18.0 and above. If you dont have, you can just go online and download a copy from either :
http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/nokia-pc-suite
or
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Mobile-Phone-Tools/Nokia/Nokia-PC-Suite.shtml
Just Install the Nokia PC Suite on your system, and make sure that your system 's bluetooth as well as your phone's bluetooth are switched on.
Thereafter after installing the Nokia PC Suite, when you are prompted to select connection type, just select bluetooth and click next. The software will then try to automatically detect your phone and pair with it. It might ask you for a passcode, just use 1234, or any other number you like.
Hope this helps you out.
Goodluck!

Hi,

If that's an Inbuilt Bluetooth, Software is not needed until and unless you have deleted that software.

USB bluetooth or Bluetooth Dongle is required when you do not have bluetooth option in your notebook.

It's not working means - You have lost this feature . You need to purchase a Bluetooth device and you would get a CD alongwith it for software.

Kindly make sure with the tech - Is that the software has been lost or Bluetooth Hardware is at FAULT.

Regarding software, download from :-

http://download.cnet.com/Bluetooth-Software-Ver-6-0-1-4900-zip/3000-2108_4-162222.html

Thanks.
