Connect the AC adapter into a known working AC outlet and to the DC jack on the notebook. NOTES:

    Verify
the correct Sony AC adapter is being used, and not a third-party
replacement AC adapter. To determine the model number of the AC adapter
for your computer, refer to the specifications available online through
the Manuals/Specs/Warranty link on this page.
Do not connect the AC adapter to a surge protector or extension cord.
If the DC jack on the computer is loose or damaged, the computer may require service.
    Some
AC adapters have a POWER LED indicator and can be confirmed as
receiving power by ensuring the LED is lit. If the AC adapter is
damaged, or the LED is not lit or continuously flickers when plugged
into a working AC outlet, the adapter must be replaced. A replacement
AC adapter can be obtained from the Sony® Parts and Accessories Sales
Web site athttp://www.sony.com/pas or by calling (239) 768-7691.
Attempt to turn on the computer normally.
Press and hold the Power Switch for 5 seconds.
    Remove the battery.
    Disconnect the AC power adapter.
Press and hold the Power Switch for 5 seconds.
    Connect the AC power adapter.
Attempt to turn on the computer. NOTE: If the computer turns on without the battery, connect and charge the battery for 24 hours.
Disconnect all external devices that are connected to the computer. NOTES:

    These
devices include, but are not limited to, a modem, floppy disk drive,
network connection, USB device, printer, keyboard, or mouse.
    On
older model computers, the maximum current output from the USB is
500ma. If a connected USB device draws more current than this amount,
the unit may not power on.
Attempt to turn on the computer.
Remove any additional Random Access Memory (RAM) that was installed in the computer.
Attempt to turn on the computer. NOTES:

    The
troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you
have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, service
    may be required.
When shipping the computer for repair, include all notes of the LED status that display during troubleshooting. [[DAPC Direct Accessories and Parts Center]] if all the above troubleshooting steps fails, then you will have to ship the Computer to San Diego Service center

Take it to a darkened room, and turn it on.
Is there anything at all, although very-dim, on the screen? If so, the "inverter" has failed.
It's about a $20 part, but add $50 to $75 for a qualified technician to disassemble/replace/reassemble/test it.

Try connecting an external monitor, to see if the video-card can output as it should. If nothing, then replacing the motherboard (very expensive!) or replacing the computer is the next logical step.

If the external video is OK, then it's over $200 to buy a replacement LCD screen, plus $50 to $75 to do the replacement.

Touch screen not working

Try to remove the battery and insert it back into your gps device and turn it on. If the screen does not still work, then you need to reset the nuvi, by holding down the power button for about 15 seconds, then the unit will restart, that way the touch screen should respond. If it still does not work, then you need to calibrate the screen to get it to work. To calibrate the screen, follow the sreps below:
  1. Turn off your nuvi,
  2. Press your finger on the upper left corner of the touch screen,
  3. While holding your finger on the touch screen, turn on the nuvi,
  4. Continue to hold your finger on the screen for about 30 seconds until the calibration screen appears (white screen with touch dot),
  5. Then follow the on screen instructions.
It might not work trying it once, so you have to try it over time till it works. Calibration is the last resort of all solutions, so if calibrating it does not do the work, then it means it a an internal problem.

Bb 9530 work well but screen does'nt work i have change the new screen but the problem still persist i have install os 4.7.0.148 the problem with my screen is black

If the problem persist even after changing the display then issue may be with the strip(which connects the display screen and the board).
