Question about Encon Industries Dryers

1 Answer

I have a ceiling mount Encon fan/light. While trouble shooting, I found that the motor capacitor had "opened", and the sides of which had blown outward. I want to get a new capacitor. The model is: #52-4E-7ALW-P3S.A second label on the motor housing is: "Listed Fan 408x-E64731-1" There is a Red wire which is a common ground for a Yellow ( 4 microfarad )wire and a Blue ( 2 microfarad )wire. The following are the dimensions, in inches( 1&1/8H x 1&1/2W x 3/4D. I just want to purchase a replacement capacitor. Can you help me? You don't need those particular models of capacitors, all capacitors with those characteristics (.2 and .4 microfarad at at least 200 volts) will do. You can find them at all hobby shops - just remove them and ask for a similar one.

I need a celing mounting bracket for 52in 5 blade encon ceiling fan. where can i get one the model # is 94b03-0395

I just uninstalled my 29 year old Encon flush mount fan light. The number on the base is E101004. It was a lighted base. The mount bracket is built into the base. It is the 4 prong and hook style the allows the motor to hang suspended while wiring and then swings up. There is a glass ring that is sandwiched between the base plate and decorative bottom.
It's the only usable part besides the 4 glass light covers. You can save this from the land fill if you haven't purchased a replacement fan.
