Check the obvious first.

  • Is the spark plug in good condition? No cracks
  • Try a new plug
  • Are you sure no wire is shorting?
  • Have you done any recent repairs?
  • Does a new plug get spark??
Try to change the plug with correct gap new plug.

What do u do when spark is weak on Yamaha blaster

Check battery voltage, remove spark plug suppressor cap from HT lead and see if spark is good by holding lead in a gloved hand and placing the lead end near the engine. If spark good get a new suppressor cap. Check the plug shows a good spark in the new cap by holding the screw thread to the engine. Poor spark change spark plug. If you get a poor spark from the HT lead then get the ignition coil checked.

The Check Engine light is on, and Auto Zone checked it and said the 3rd cylinder has a misfire. New spark plugs have already been installed. How do you fix this? I need to have the car e-checked soon. ...

Some testing needs to be done to find the problem. May be spark related (ignition)-check if cylinder 3 has spark. You should see a blue, snapping spark when checking at the end of the spark plug wire-you can buy a cheap calibrated spark tester to check for spark. If spark is good, need to check that injector for #3 is pulsing, so the cylinder is getting gas.
If you find it has spark and getting gas, have a compression test done to see if any mechanical problem with cylinder 3, something like a valve not seating can cause misfires.

Cant get a spark from spark plug

if you have checked or replaced your ignition timing and have power there
trace it back check it from the coil
if no power could be a faulty coil

check for power at the connection to your spark plug lead if its getting power then check it at the spark plug if no power faulty spark plug lead

I checked battery,alternator,and fuel pump,still wont start.?

is the engine getting any spark, disconnect 1 of the spark plug wires and ground it, and have someone crank the engine over to see if it is getting spark, if so, i would check the fuel pump relay in the fuse box under the hood on drivers side. if you didnt get any spark from the plug wire, then i would check the coil, it could be bad since you weren't getting any spark.

Hi, Honda HRG465C Petrol Mower running problem

The first thing to check is the spark plug, is it clean and properly "Gapped" next is are we actually getting spark, does the spark plug actually "Spark". Check. Check Spark Plug lead., Check connections. Do we have Fuel, Check .and Is the fuel getting to the Carburettor? Check. Check the battery. alternator, generator, is providing power. Check the Mixture.

Truck will npt start

check to see if your getting spark, if you are make sure your getting fuel. if no spark check coil primary resistance it should be from 1 to 3 ohms. if your not getting spark it can only be a primary ignition problem not a secondary one, example plugs, plug wires. if you are getting spark but no fuel. pull fuel pump relay and jumper wire together #30 and #87 teminals diagnally across from each other under the relay you just pulled out good luck!!!
