Question about GE WSXH208A Front Load Washer
According to your wiring diagram, if you remove power from the machine for approximately 5 minutes, the door should unlock.
If you find the tub is still full of water, you may have a blockage in your drain pump or pre-filter. To access the pump pre-filter and pump, un-plug the washer and slide it forward so that you can tilt it back and lean it against the wall behind it.
Next remove the three screws located at the very bottom of the front of the washer that hold the lower access panel on. Allow the access panel to drop down and set it off to the side.
In the front right corner you will see the drain pump.
The hose that comes from the outer tub to the pump is designed to trap coins/debris in the base of it, you can remove the hose from the pump by using pliers to squeeze the clamp and slide it backwards.
Be sure to get ready for some water to come out if there is still water left in the tub. Hopefully you will find a sock or some coins in the base of this hose trap that are causing your issues, if not be sure to check the pump inlet where the hose connects to the pump, it is just about the right size for a quarter to become lodged inside stopping the flow of water to the pump.
Good luck with this!!
