ERROR5100 P2

Hold RESUME then press & hold POWER
Release RESUME, then press it twice, the light should go amber then green again.
You're now in service mode, remove your finger from the power button
Then press the resume button four time to reset the waste tank counter
Then press the power button

My printer just quit working and comes up error5100.

Error 5100 describes a minor physical error. Usually a paper jam or improperly seated ink cartridge. Check the printer for paper jams and re-seat the ink cartridges according to the owners manual and you will be ok.

Error 5100 is usually a carriage error. It sounds like it is faulty and giving you an ink error. does the carriage move on start up?are there any flashing lights on the carriage showing you a cartridge is faulty? see if anything is stuck under the carriage preventing it from moving correctly.

Pixma iP1800 ink absorber almost full error msg.

I have use canon pixmaip1300.
But recently the printer does not print.

Unistall the printer driver and then restart the computer. After restarting reinstall the driver so that everything will be fix.
