Question about Moen 103459 Drain Pop-UP Plug
I think you're referring to the drain stopper in your sink? They have to positions, one drop in so you can remove it easily to remove debris, or the other position it is engaged in the lever assembly that raises and lowers it. Loosen the nut on the drain line where the lever enters the drain (under the sink) retract the lever slightly, lower the plunger with the hole aligned to the lever. Re-insert the lever and test that it raises and lowers the plunger. Then try to lift the plunger. If you have engaged the lever into the plunger then it will not come out. Re-tighten the nut.
