What is meant by av out which at the side of camera digimax L60

AV out is an analog video output suitable for sending a signal to a TV or video recorder that has the appropriate inputs. You should have been sopplied a cable with the camera to make this connection. Typically this would have a mini-jack on the camera end and up to three RCA "phono" style plugs on the other. You can use this to view your pictures on a TV screen.

I burned DVD from my camcorder but my DVD player doesnt want to play it.

Some DVD players will not play certain types of DVD's such as a DVD-RW. Also, the DVD must be finalized before it will play on your machine. Did you do that?

Clicking sound when ON button is pushed / Lens will not retract. Where can I send it for repair ??

Remove the batteries from the camera, wait a few minutes. Put a fresh set of batteries back in (pand turn the camera on. If that didn't work, try pressing and holding the Function or OK button while turning the camera on.
Insert the cameras Audio/Video (AV) cable, and turn the camera on. Inserting this cable ensures that the camera's LCD screen remains off during the start process. Thus extra battery power is available to the camera's lens motor during startup. This extra power can be useful in overcoming grit or sand particals that may be jamming the lens. If the AV cable doesn't fix the lens error by itself, consider keeping this cable installed while trying fixes 4, 5, and 7 as a means to provide extra help to these fixes. But note that I DON'T recommend keeping the cable installed during Fix 6 as you may damage the AV port while tapping the camera. Reinsert the cable only AFTER tapping the camera.

Can not find an avconnecting cable for the dvd/cam model numberdzbx35

I checked out the guide and it appears to be a fairly standard AV/S output cable. I was able to find several online. I know I had one too that came with my camcorder but I had little use for it and it's been misplaced. The ones I found online are much nicer than the ones that come with your camcorder standard. They are also called s-video/av cables. If you are looking locally I would try anyplace that sells camcorders or home theater systems. It should have one yellow or yellow striped plug that is round with holes in it, the other two will be the same size as each other but one is red and the other white or has that stripe. Those will have pins on the end.

Hi I am Brenda, and I have a chance to get a new DVC Digital Camcorder for $149.00 plus extra software. But not sure what cam is worth because I cant seem to find it. 12 megapix max res. 1.6 flip out...

You can get the camera cheaper by going to or it might be Can't remember exactly.
digital zoom is worthless, you would not be happy with it. That said, I bought both my daughters each one last year. They love them. Only problem is they are not built to take ANY shocks or vibrations, so if it is in your purse, and you drop your purse-it may not work. Optical zoom is the only way to go. I would suggest getting a usb card reader for it. only 5 or so bucks on up. The card reader is faster, and less frustrating, ad works much better than the softwear.

To view images on TV

connect the supplied AV cable to the television on a connection that has white and yellow inputs (for monoraul audio and cvbs), then on your television remote, select the associated input. wherever you plug this cable into, check for an input label - something like INn, VIDEOn, AVn (where n is the number) and then on the remote for the television should be a buttons that says something to the effect of INPUT, INPUT SELECT, A/V, AV SELECT, DEVICE, or SOURCE, etc. depending on your model. Once you select the correct input you should see your picture on-screen using the playback or review mode of the camera - the icon that is a quadrilateral w/ rounded corners that has a right-arrow in the center.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
