Hi, all computers have sound. Check your hard ware manager in the control panel to ensure you have the correct driver for your sound device

if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check

Humming Sound

Make sure the power cables are not close or entwined with the audio cables. The audio cables pick noise from the power cable and hence u hear the buzzing sound. I havent used your system, but look for a power button on the device itself. That should work in your favor. Else in the computer itself you can mute the speakers.

No sound from my pc .no audio output device installed

Do the following:

1. Download and install all updates for either Vista or Windows XP
2. Check to see if theres any yellow exclamation marks under any of the "Sound, video and game controllers" sections of "Device Manager" under Management of your "My Computer".If there is select the one with the exclamation, select "upgrade driver" and if that doesnt work uninstall the driver, reboot your PC and it will automatically reinstall the driver or it will ask you for the driver location (if you havent done so)
