Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
Unplug the machine then remove the screws attaching the lower front access panel to the
cabinet then pull the panel down and off. Prop up the lower front edge of the washer or cushion the rear top edge
with cloth and lean the washer against the wall for an easy access of the screws.
Place a shallow pan or lay a towel under the filter to catch the water from the pump. Unscrew the filter from the pump assembly and drain the water. Clean the filter and screw it back into the pump assembly. Slide the lower front access panel up back into the cabinet and secure it with the attaching screws.
