Question about Mozilla Firefox

1 Answer

Mozilla Firefox 3.66, Win 7 Home Premium: No matter what I try, Firefox will not save my open tabs. Whenever I reboot or FF crashes, I have to recreate all the tabs I have open. I have tried changing my homepage (Yahoo Mail), and "Show My Windows and Tabs From Last Time" is always selected. Nothing works, and I spend hours of extra time dealing with this problem. The only time the tabs are saved is when there is an Add-on update and I have to re-start Firefox; then it starts exactly right.

Not one of these solutions worked. But I have another problem that needs attention.

Hi,

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Browsers crash

Domain Name System = DNS
I'de look into Firewall program and or Routers settings then I'de try running FF without plugins enabling one by one as well as look for an update for it i.e. at least try and update FF if re-installation is too much of an effort (Make sure you export (Save) Bookmarks if you have many as I do. A re-start of the System wouldn't do any harm, i.e. between un-installation and re-installation of FF.
Try and see what is said at
http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/home
OR
http://forums.mozillazine.org/ they should be able to have a solution.

Man you have to download the supporting mozilla firefox , internet explorer and adobe flash player.
that means these softwares must support your windows vista service pack 1.but i personally advice you that you have to upgrade to windows 7 ultimate or home edition.most of the softwares supports windows 7.i think that you got the solution.

Firefox crashes

Which version of Firefox? I've had issues with crashes in FF on version 3.0.5. If you're on V3.0.5, uninstall it and install an older version.

My internet explorer windows vista doesn't work.

Interesting problem. Have you tried installing another internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox? I love Firefox it saves my tabs/open webpages if I select that option when I shut down the PC even if your PC crashes 90% of the time it will have your tabs/pages saved. The only problems I have experienced with Firefox (minor issue) is some websites hosting videos that are "save as" won't download but this happens rarely. Firefox is also
less vulnerable to phishing and hacking according to the Mozilla website http://www.mozilla.org/

I have had nothing but problems with Windows Vista since I got my Acer Aspire 5610. It crashes daily or 1-2 times a week. I have heard Windows Vista Premium is a better version, but haven't tried it. I know you can purchase installer discs from Acer on their webpage but don't know if you can get them in Windows XP. I have considered dumping the Vista and paying to get XP installed instead.
