Question about Cooktops
Hi I have an Amana downdraft cooktop. Puchased about 4 years ago. The burner worked fine, but after last use, the knob won't turn. Do I call an electrician or appliance repair person? Any chance of fixing myself?
Appliance repair and yes you can fix it you likely need an infinite switch

I had the same problem. took it apart. popped some stuck pieces loose. Now the knobs spin freely and burners light up.
