Question about ViewSonic Computers & Internet
I would appreciate,if you could wait for the reply. I was commenting back on the last question, you posted. There are few caps that were reported back. Most of the reported one's are :-
2 - 1000uF @ 10V
3 - 470uF @ 25V
1 - 470uF @ 10V
Once you open the unit, pull out the power supply board. Most of the bad caps usually have ammonia kind of odor and usually swelled / bulged or leaked. You could easily trace that. If unable to trace that, then we need to use multimeter.
Kindly follow the above said instructions and revert so that i could further guide you.
Note - I am not online 24 by 7. Though i would be available most of the times. Have some patience. These require a lot more than pulling and resoldering. A small mistake might end up forcing you to dump this TV.
Let me know,so that we could proceed.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
