Question about Computers & Internet
It would have been easier for me if you would have told me the Operating systems on your PC and laptop. Anyways I'm asuming that your pc has windows xp 32 bit and your laptop has windows 7 64 bit. If this is the case then here's your solution
Try the following: install the printer on the 64 bit machine via USB, the reconnect to your XP machine. Now go to the Devices and Printers folder, right click on the MP 730, Printer properties, Ports, Add port, Local port, Create port and select \\XPcomputer\printer (where you supply the appropriate share name for the computer and printer), OK, OK
If this is not your OS then kindly let me know.
