Question about Compaq 17" Flat Screen CRT Monitor
When I first switch on the computer,initially screen picture and desktop icons are dark which is very difficult to see ,but as the time psses by picture quality becomes usual as good as is normal.I tried with the monitor contrast and brightness control but in vain. After I again stop the computer and again started the computer but then there is no problem for the rest of the day but again when you switch on the computer on the next day at the initial opening of the computer that darkness of the screen is happening and goinh away as the time passes by. give me the solution.
How old is the moniter as it sounds like either dirty connections or the pixels are getting a bit tired

Tips for a great answer:
Turn on your computer. If your computer is already on, then reboot it.
You need to see the initial display screen to get into the BIOS.
Press the F1 key immediately in one second intervals when you see the initial screen displaying the BIOS provider information.
The majority of Gateway computers use the F1 key.
If, for some reason this does not work, then use the F2.
All of Gateway's desktops use the F1 or F2 keys.
