My canon MX882 printer has become VERY slow at printing pictures. Almost undo able

This all comes down to file size of the picture and the quality you are printing in. Check your printer settings and see if you are printing in least, normal or best quality. Also look at the actual size in pixels of the picture you are printing.

How do I increase DPI of .png

With what do you want to increase the DPI and fro what?
DPI is only used in printing. Papers mostly print in 72 DPI and glossy magazines, print there pictures in 300 DPI.
Once you shot a picture, with a camera, giving you a picture of 1200 x 800 pixels, you could print that picture at 300 DPI to a size of 4 x 3 inch. But even if you would print a 8 x 6, the picture could look good.
If you don't need to deliver pictures for print in magazines, it does not matter how many dpi you are using. Using .png, actually tries to compress pictures so they don't use a lot of space on the net (or on your drive. The info you lost by the compression, can't be regained, by trying to make a picture with more DPI.

I do try to explain in a few words something one graphic schools the need lots of lessons for. I tell you it can be done, making more DPI, from an existing picture, but it won't change anything to the sharpness or quality of the picture.

If i want to print out pictures, how do i go about getting the date on the picture?

The date and time (and a lot more) are automatically stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Have date print on pictures. I see the date on the camera but when the pictures print no date

Many digital cameras have a special settings to allow the date to appear on the pictures.
As a general rule, if the date is printed on the playback of the picture, then it will appear on the print. There seems to me to be no reason that if the recorded picture, then it should print, unless it is too far to the right or the bottom, then it may be off the picture because of cropping.

I am trying to print some pictures but my printer deos not print when I hit print on the screen sound like printing but than just empty **** comes out. What can I do?

Point the mouse at the picture, and click the SECOND (usually the RIGHT) mouse-button, and choose "save to My Pictures". Assign a filename to the picture, and click 'OK' to save it.

Repeat the above, choosing "Go to My Pictures", to open your "My Pictures" folder. Again, click with the SECOND mouse-button on the picture, and choose "Print".

My c65 prints photo all dimmer

Set up a picture with basic squares of colour using a graphics program such as Powerpoint. Print this picture. Does the printed picture look like the picture on the screen. If not, uninstall the printer, reboot, and re-install it. Try again - still no good? You need to get a technician to look at your printer.

If this basic colour check works OK, take a photograph of the printed picture and load it into the computer. Compare it with the original on the screen. The same? No - it's a camera problem - Yes? - OK now print the camera version. Any sign of this dimming? Yes - it's a printer problem - get a technician, as before. No? - I'm baffled why you think you have a problem?

Printing

You may not get the print option in C:/Documents and Settings/Owner/My Documents/My Pictures, to print from there you shold highlight the picture you want to print then right click on the same you shoul see a option as print left click on it and follow the Photo Printing Wizard and make sure you have the right options selected to your desired printing preferences for paper type and size.
If not open the picture in HP Image Zone, HP Photosmart essential or HP Photosmart Premier as it comes installed in you HP Pavlion compter and then try printing from there.
