Hey, you should check your interlock actuator ( Part#: 011E10711 )
Here is a video that shows you where it is and how to replace it.
Hope it helps. - Steven

Where is the fuser door on a xerox fax machine 3300 mfp

The fuser door is at the back of the machine. Open the door, pull down and close firmly shut. If the error persists it could be that the sensor has gone bad. The sensor is actually hard wired to the High Voltage Power Supply that sits right above the paper tray underneath the machine. It would need to be replaced if closing door doesn't fix the error, the part number is 105N02120,a link to picture of the part is 105N02120 Xerox 3300MFP HVPS Item Inc

Xerox phaser 7760 close door a in the display

This is a very common problem with the 77X0 series. The lower left door magnets have come loose and won't hold the door closed all the way. If you press on the door and hold it closed...the error should go away. The "Door A" needs replaced unless you can get just the magnets and replace them.

I have a Xerox Phaser 6360 with a ram error what could the problem be?

Are you sure it is not a NVRAM error you are recieving?

If yes, remove the IMAGING UNIT.
Close the door and Power On.
Msg gone? If yes, replace IMAGING UNIT.

If no, remove the FUSER unit.
Close the door and Power On,
Msg gone? If yes, replace FUSER.

If not, it is the ENGINE BOARD.

Phaser 7760DN - won't print. Error: Close Door A when door A is already closed. Advice welcome. Thanks

You need to check the interlock actuator ( Part#: 011E10711 ).
It costs under $20 and takes 2 min. to install a new one if it is broken, here is a video I made that shows you how.
(also works on the 7700 and 7750)

Xerox phaser 7760 saying "non-phaser imaging unit"

There is a snippet on the Xerox website to solve imaging unit recognition problems, link below. http://www.support.xerox.com/support/phaser-7760/downloads/engb.html?operatingSystem=winxp&fileLanguage=en_GB Usually this problem only occurs if the NVRAM has been reset or the engine board has been replaced without backing up the NVRAM. You can download the snippet to your printer through Centreware or by downloading the 'File Downloader' utility from the same page above.
Hope this helps.
