Either the plus is not completely inserted (most likely) or a wire is loose or the earphones are damaged.

Right and left sounds are off

Have you pressed the plastic circle on the left ear? Hold it for 2-5 seconds until you hear a double or triple beeping sound and a colour of light should go on on both ears!!! Hope this helps! ;)

BEst to just try to find a repair shop for that sort of thing. Disecting headphones is a risky venture, and 9/10 it results in a frustrated, headphoneless user.

Left ear doesnt give out sound

there are two reasons for which your left ear head phone is not working:
1.If the insulation between the wires(copper leads inside the cord) fails....the two leads gets short circuited and it will stop working...OR some times the cord ll be looking good but inside one of the leads got cut then one of the headphones fails...
the solution for the above problem is dont wrap the cord...this ll lead to cut or insulation failure....
2.the speaker in the left head phone got failed...
dont forget to rate me...
good luck...

I cant hear the gameplay in the right ear

Have you tried using your X1 with an iPod or MP3 player? Try that, and if you hear sound through both sides of the headset from the MP3 player, then the problem is in the "Stereo Splitter Cable", which can be replaced. But if you only hear sound out of the left ear from the MP3 player, then the headset is probably broken and you should contact Turtle Beach tech support at support@turtlebeach.com.

Identifying left and right ear for sound

Hi Jscreamer

Turn the balance control from left to right, The sound should fade from left to right in the same direction you turn the balance control. If it does not, then you got em on the wrong way about. They often fit better the right way around too.
