Question about Toshiba 32HL67 32 in. LCD Television

Every time we get a power cut, the tv will not come back on when power resumes. It usually takes a couple of days and fiddling of wires to get it on. is there a sensor or something to press?

You need to put it on a surge protector, if not your looking at replacing it, before the power goes out theres usually a surge associated with it, i've fixed too many tvs that people could have saved with a 8 dollar purchase of a surge protector

Have a lg 42 that play for about 20 min then cut off may come back on in a couple of days

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

You would have to know a little about electrical repairs, if you don't then I suggest finding someone who does because the repair can present electrical dangers.

Some might say to splice the cable around the cut, but I'm not one of them. If the power wire comes from the inside of the TV then you can usually open up the back of the TV and replace the wire with a little soldering. Make sure the wire you use is properly rated for a standard house appliances. (lamp/etc.) If the wire instead simply plugs into the back of the TV then you may just have to contact the manufacturer (or electronics store) to get a replacement wire.

Toshiba tv keeps on changing inputs at irreguar times on its own and the every button on the remote changes the input. have tried removing batteries from remote but problem continues

There is a known problem with Toshiba Tvs that options change with out any input of buttons or remote. the tv switch panel needs replacement. This is situated behind where the buttons are on your tv usually bottom right. there is a work round if you dont want the expense of part replacement. you can disconnect these buttons and only use the remote. This requires taking off the back (ensure tv is disconnected from power as there is high voltage in the tv) once the back is removed and tv is laying on its front you will see bottom left where the buttons now are, a couple of cables one will have seveal wires and one will only have a couple of wires take the smaller one off this will disconnect the buttons and stop the problem. once this is done you can only use the remote control to control the tv settings but the power on off button still works.
I hope this was useful.

Sounds like your on the right track. I would check for loose wire connections around the fuse boxes. Pull any fuse that has to do with the ignition or ECM/PCM, as these do corrode and loose connection. I would not rule out the ignition switch either, as the problem you are having is intermittant and switches are bad for intermittant problems. They heat up and loose contact, and regain contact when they cool down, and usually in a couple of seconds.

3--The beeper may sound once ,Then Unplug the printer ,then power back up and reset the printer electronics ,open the printer and this process is finished. I believe this should take care of your issue, it's basically a cold reset for the printer, Give it a shot...
