Hello, One of the wires soldered to the underside of the warming plate had fell off due to poor soldering. The warming plate and the warning light are connected together with piggy back connectors so that is why the light is on even when the warmer is cold. Bye

Add water light comes on when it is full

Try using warmer water. At 113 degrees our 2.0 finally admitted that the reservoir did in fact have enough water to operate. I filled the reservoir half full of drinking water and then heated other water in a water kettle. Just before it boiled I began pouring it in the reservoir until the Max level. To my delight when I pushed the continue button this time it worked. Customer Service had said to use luke warm/ room temperature water. For our Keurig, the water needed to be at least 113 degrees. Hope this helps.

Brewed coffee overflowed on to warmer plate. Now water does not heat and flow and warmer plate does not heat up.

Unless it is an expensive brewer, get a new one. The brewer needs the bottom plate to heat in order for it to work at all. Should be imune getting wet though, but sounds like bad heating element.

It sounds like the plate warmer setting was activated or the timer may have been manually advanced to the heated dry portion of the cycle.

Can i unhook the electricity to the cup warmer tray to save power

I think that the heating to the cup warmer comes from the water boiler which is place underneath so the heat is produced anyway.

Cold water

The law of thermodynamics states that heat travels from a hotter object to a colder object. In a refrigerator the temperature is colder and there for the heat leaves the water and into the colder air surrounding it. However nothing happens in a flash and the movement of the heat from the water takes time. The time is related to the volume being cooled. If to much water is being drawn it will be warmer.

Coffee pot

I am having the identical probem, I plug it in, it starts to heat, but no brewing. I have removed the lid and the water pan underneath, and looked into the opening. When heating, the voltage on the main heater is 110 volts. It stars to steam, then the unit switches off.I think that for some reason,it's not allowing the temp. to rise to the boiling point. Anybody have any ideas? I'll check on that one way valve in the meantime.
