The only time you will see the traffice option is when the unit is plugged into power with the traffic receiver connected

are both your power cord and traffic receiver working?

does your unit charge when in the car?

if not try using a different power cable.

if it does then you may have a faulty traffic receiver i dont know of any ways to test if it is faulty though. have you given garmin support a call?

Unfortunately you do not say what browser you are using
You can make your choice in "options"
e.g. Firefox

Make google my home page

Easiest solution (vary per your browser) but select Tools > Internet Options (IE), / Settings (Firefox/Mozilla/Chrome).
In IE the first Tab that opens has the option for your home page or pages (tabs). If you have already gone to www.google.com (or the country of your choice then you should be able - in all browsers - to select the current page as your home page, or manually set this option in the area provided for this in your browser. Hope this helps!

My internets not working on my infuse

If you've had internet service previously, and it has stopped working, try this: go to settings > wireless and network > mobile networks > access point names. Touch access point names -- this should bring up data network(s) you originally had. (If the choices now include the word "disable," the following could work for you as it did for me just now.) Next, touch the "menu" button on the phone (the left-most of the 4 buttons on the phone below "Samsung" at the bottom of the screen). After touching the menu button, a screen should appear at the bottom with options to "add new APN" or "reset to default." Touch "reset to default" and your previous internet connection should come back.

On facebook i m told to enable cookies, so how toenable it?

depends on the browser you are using, if it's internet explorer, you will find cookie settings under the menu option "tools" -> internet options -> tab "privacy" adjust the slider to set cookie restriction level.

if it's firefox (the good choice btw) goto "tools" -> options -> tab "privacy" and set the option "firefox will :" to custom and you'll get a menu for setting cookie restrictions

Unable to connect Wii to internet

When you go to the Wii options->wii settings->internet->connection settings->connection 1..clear settings. Then go back to connection 1 and click 'wireless connection' Then 'search for access point'. Your wireless should be one of the choices(plus any nearby neighbors). If no wireless connections available then recheck your router. If you are sure there should be an access point and the Wii didn't find it, possibly defective wireless in the Wii.

Facebook has taken over my website, want to remove facebook

Hello and welcome to fixya.

If you are referring to the default home page that shows immediately when you open up internet explorer, firefox or any other browser, you can un-set facebook from your default HomePage very easily like this:

1. Internet Explorer 8 (and earlier versions): Go to Tools-->Internet Options-->Then to the first tab ("General") replace the part that says http://www.facebook.com with any link of your choice (eg: www.google.com or www.bing.com)

2. Firefox (all versions): Go to Tools-->Options-->Then to general tab the Startup section reads "Home Page" to a point and this is set also to http://www.facebook.com. Again, replace this with a link of your own choice (google or bing).

Regards from FixYa.

Thanks.

I cant install traffic fm

Hello,

The 255W does not include traffic, if you got the Traffic cable additionally all that you would need to do is plug into you cars 12v power source and you should be receiving updates. You can check this by going to Tools > Settings > Traffic > and see if you have any info there.

Hope this helps!
