Check the water in let valve connections and the current over it when it is in the fab cond. cycle. Replace valve if current is on. Valve price range is 15-35$

Why does the conditioner drawer not empty

If you remove the drawer and pull up the flap that has 'max' written on it, checked that the two cylinder parts are clear, especially the larger of the two as the fab cond and water are drawn up the side of these when they are together by capillary action (make sure when you close the flap down the large cylinder sits over the small on and the whole thing clips into the main body of the drawer). While you have the drawer out, look into the top of the dispenser housing (in the machine) look in the middle above where the fab cond chamber would be if the drawer was in, you will see four small rectangular cut outs, this is where the water flows during the final rinse. Get a medium size cable tie and push it through each of the holes, giving it a wiggle as you push it in (if the cable tie is long enough you will see the end appear at the back of the chamber). This will clear the channel of gung. Replaced the drawer and run a rinse cycle. This will send water through the channels to flush them completely. Hope this helps

Can you help me with a problem on a Bosch Classix 1400 washing m/c please? Fabric conditioner is no longer being used up during the wash cycle

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
This is a common problem with many machines.
I suspect that the conditioner/softener tray needs a thorough clean,
paying particular attention to the sentences in BOLD ;-0)
-------------------------------------
Remove the complete drawer. To do this you will have to do one of the following-
  • Top catch- push down the lip/catch at the middle rear and pull the drawer out (that's how our Bosch one is removed)
  • release the catches underneath (our daughter's Indesit) or
  • lift upwards on the tray as it is coming out to clear the lip underneath.
One of these should enable you remove it
(I am having to guess some of the following!)
Once out identify which tray is for the conditioner- the others are simply 'chutes' and open-ended.
It will normally have some sort of cover over it which you must remove to expose the little stuck up pipe/tube. On some models there is just a small individual cap over the tube. The tube is down which the conditioner and water should siphon. It is likely to be blocked by 'gunge'- a mix of powder and conditioner. The whole of the tray, particularly this pipe and the bit which fits over it, must be completely clean and clear for it to operate correctly. It is worthwhile checking fairly regularly.
If this does not work, pull out the dispenser drawer far enough to be able to just see the softener tray, select the (final?) rinse and check that water is entering the tray. If it isn't there is a fault with the water distribution and an engineer call is required ;-0(
Good luck,
John C

I have a bosch 1200 classix machine and its stopped dispensing water into the fabric conditioner bit

If water is being dispensed it could it be that the conditioner/softener tray is holding the softener rather than letting it be siphoned into the washer by the water, which is not uncommon. If so the softener part needs a thorough clean (see my complete guidance notes below, please)

Drum not working on bosch washing machine

I would say that the brushes want replacing in the motor, access to the motor is by removing the rear panel, remove the belt, and undo screws securing motor, remove motor, brushes are located at rear end of motor.

Thanks

Bosch classix 1000 express fabric conditioner won't empty

Get a piece of stiff wire, and make a right angled bend at the end of it, then poke it in all the holes on the top of the soap drawer compartment, this should solve your prob.
Please rate my solution.,
Thanks.

My bosch classix washing machine is not dispensing the fabric conditioner properly. Often the fabric conditioner is left in the dispenser unused, just now it went in with the washing powder. It has...

The water going in to the dispenser is blocked by sludge.
Remove the dipenser tray.
Look up inside the tray hole, at the 'roof' of the tray hole, and there are four holes (square on my machine) where the water flows in - in the middle of the 'roof'. These will be blocked with sludge. Try to poke them clear with a nylon tie or plastic coated wire - should go in a few inches.
It worked for me.

Conditioner drawer not emptying out (filling with some water but not enough to drain away) Bosch Classix 1200 thanks Bill

I've also got this problem and by taking the lid off I can see where the water comes in a tthe back of the machine there is a Solenoid (a switch that diverts the water during the programme to a 2nd water hose that feeds the conditioner) not working (I tested this by removing the hose from the output of the solenoid - turning on the programe and checking no water came out - this proved no blockage)

I can see the part is about £30 amd now looking to see how easy to is too fit
