Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

I've hardly used my sandisk in the past year since i got it as a gift. At first I couldn't get it to turn on even after powering. Finally it came on. Used it several days and now can not turn it on or power it again. Is there a way to reboot it?

Press and hold the power button for at least fifteen seconds. Does it turn on?

  • janicej1 Jul 09, 2010

no it doesn't turn on. I have tried this multiple times.

  • janicej1 Jul 09, 2010

I can not figure out how to take off the back. There are no screws or clip sites. I do not want to hurt it.

  • janicej1 Jul 09, 2010

No, what now? There is no way to open the back to check on the battery.

It's a Sansa e250, right? There should be four Philips-head screws on the back. Are you sure they're not there?

  • janicej1 Jul 10, 2010

It's a Sansa Fuze. There are no screws on the back or anywhere.

  • kakima Jul 10, 2010

Okay, that's a completely different situation. You originally posted this question in an e250 area, so all the suggestions were geared toward that device. This is the first indication we've had that it was actually not an e250 but a Fuze.

Instead of merely holding the power button down, you've tried sliding it all the way up and holding it there for fifteen seconds, right?

The Fuze doesn't open in the back, and it doesn't have replaceable batteries. I hate to say it, but you just might have a dead device.

Connecting rod

Not sure if they are trying it on, i can tell you there are two ways the con rod can break, one is the engine over speeding ( this should be set from the factory assuming it has not been tampered with ) the second reason is the engine has been run short of oil the big end then seizes which in turn breaks the rod, either way the dealer should examine the engine and give a valid reason as to why the engine has failed prematurley, not just say its toast.

My dsi will not power on

The DSI could be possibly broken. If it was not broken then it could be because you could\'ve pushed hard on the button that it couldn\'t even be pressed again because its so stuck.

My LG VU CU920 keeps turning off

I had the same problem even after I exchanged the phone for a new one. The problem seems to be related to Mobile TV and the SD memory. When I removed my 2GB SD memory, the problem has not reoccurred. I recently installed a 512MB SD memory chip and so far I have not experienced the problem.
