Isolate it to a source if possible; make sure none of your cables or speaker wires run by power cords or sources of high magnetic fields. I had hum caused by track lighting.

hi,
You can't connect the pre out of your AVR to this sub woofer. Do one thing connect the frond left/ right channel speaker "B" out of harman kardon to the sub woofers left right speaker in put. you can connect the speaker out "A" to your normal left right speakers. Remember to switch Speaker "A" and "B" in ON position in your AVR. Also do one thing go to the speaker setup of AVR and switch OFF (slelect NONE) the sub woofer. This will disconnect the sub woofer pre our and the sub frequency will mix with frond left right channels.
ok

I have a Harman/Kardon AVR 325. Left speaker not working with TV

How is TV audio (from the cable box) getting into the Receiver? If digitally, you wouldn't be missing any one channel on a connection malfunction, you'd lose them all. If analog, swap the channels around to isolate the problem (and reconsider using digital).

Have digital feed connected (white, red, yellow) to DVD connections 6 & 13. Get picture but no sound. Sound is OK on VID1 input from satelite. Any ideas?

so you have the yellow out from dvd player to yellow in on the receiver (composite video) and the red and white out from dvd player to red and white in on the receiver (right and left audio channel) . you can also plug in the orange rca (digital coaxial audio) go to your menu on the Haman Kardon receiver and make sure you select the right audio input. mine is a Harman Kardon AVR146 push th osd (on screen display) on the remote. go ti the input setup and select the appropriate audio input

Harman Kardon Soundsticks II left speaker

Hi, Kazim
Firts things First:
1) check connector for 2 way sound. you can use a headphone for this.
2) you also buy Ipod dock sound speakers, there is Ihome speakers, great ones, for less than 25.00 dollars.
3) you have to see balance on those speakers.
good luck

Harman Kardon AVR 40 no sound

Check the fuses - there may be one inside the box as well. May also be a bad transformer. You can get a multi-meter at Home Depot and lookup how to check the power at the transformer.
