I would check the current draw through the relay and make sure its not above the rated max on the relay...do this using a good voltmeter/clamp meter attachment.

My intertherm elec. furnace will sometimes not come on when the thermostst activatesit, I have to trip and reset the curcuit breaker then it will work ok for a day or so, where do I start to look?

It could be several things,a weak transformer,a poor connection, bad relay. I would contact Intertherm with your particular model number. http://www.intertherm.net/

Intertherm furnace burner comes on, but blower does not. If I turn thermostat off then back on until it clicks the fan will then come on. It does not do this all of the time, just now and then.

Furnace burner and heat element are not the same. I think the fan time delay, a sensor that turns the fan on when this sensor senses heat, is shot and needs replacing, for a furnace type heat ( gas heat)

I have a intertherm furnace and split intherm heat pump when i turn the thermostat on it just seems to hum out side at the heat pump whats the problem

First thing to check is to see if you have electric out there. The hum is probably the 24 volt relay that is telling the a/c to come on. The 24 volt relay gets it's power from the indoor unit.

Intertherm furnace. Continuous cycling

Check for air restrictions or replace the filter, this appears to be lack of air in the mixture port if this is suppplied by gas

Intertherm furnace/AC, fan on the furnace won't shut off.

How old is the intertherm. The old ones have fan limit switch and sometimes they stick. The new ones have a fan baord or time delay relay. They go bad from moisture and they just go bad sometimes. It sounds like you just have a shorted relay. If you think you can replace it you can get a relay at any parts store. Need the model number of unit. If not just call a service tech for free estimate. My Intertherm furnace will not shut off, the A/C cycles, but the blower runs unless I trip the breaker. I have replaced the t-stat.

It could be a couple of things; since you've already replaced the thermostat it could also be shorted wires from the thermostat to the furnace, or a siezed relay that controls the blower motor.

I have a mobile home furnace Intertherm #1378. The pilot light is on, but the burner will not light. The thermostat clicks on and everything seems to be running properly, but there is no flame. Last year...

First make sure that the gas valve is in the on position. There is a spring load diaphragm that will stick when not in use over time, When the t-stat clicks on for heat tap the valve with a hammer LIGHTLY. If it doesn't come on replace the valve.

FURNACE OR AC WONT TURN ON

to see if it is the t-stat or the system you can unwire the entire t-stat and jump out the wires. never touch the blue to any other wire or you will blow the low voltage fuse on new board. if you jump red to yellow and your condensing unit cycles on the t-stat is wired wrong or wrong style. If not go check the yellow wire at cond. unit and see if power is even going to it.
