    Model : PCV-RS720G - Sony Vaio Tower

Here's my problem, i just recently installed BFG FX5500 into the towerand when i first restart the computer and plugged the monitor into thenew graph.card , it had a Red Sign on in the middle of the screen thatread,

Attention signal Frequency is out of range
    H : 44.8 Khz
    V : 85.4 hz
    Please change signal timing

I have done the steps by disabling my Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL ExpressChipset Family , Display adapter after plugging the chip in and thenrestarting computer, to where i have got that "out of range" on thescreen.

The problem with the monitor showing the "signal timing" would occurafter the logo, but to explain the problem even further, the displaywould only show on the Intel Display Adapter.. to the point to where ilogg in. -- before i logg in, i can see my cursor on the Nvidia DisplayAdapter -- after i logg in, i get the whole screen Without Any Icons.Although, i can browse through the computer. No games or apps are ableto run exept window folders and IE . I basically had 2 screens becausei would have to periodically switch the cord to the monitor back andforth with the Display Adapters . That occurs when either i have bothadapters enabled, or just the Nvidia enabled.
^ This is info about the Sony Tower .

No picture in my monitor but the monitor is on

If monitor is on it could be (1. the screen cable is faulty .(2 then screen cable is not plugged in, or you have installed a graphics card and connected it to the on board and not the graphics card.If its connected to the motherboard or the graphics card and is not coming on then your graphics card or onboard is shot.If onboard is shot buy a graphics card and install it or replace graphics card.

Graphics card update

if you use windows 7, you should be able to enable dual screens by right clicking on your desktop, and click screen resolution, on the top right, click on detect (assuming you have your video cards enabled and the monitors hooked up). some new dropdown menus should appear for choosing what you need. hope this works for you.

I have a dell dimension 4400 and the original graphics card thats came with it but yesterday i when too turn on my computer and the screen is not picking up and image from the CPU is there anything i can...

OK, I am curious how are you going to install a new graphics card without installing a new graphics card? "picking up and image from the CPU is there anything i can do to install a new PCI graphics card with out having too install the new graphics card"

You can install a different graphics card in the computer assuming you have an open expansion slot. If the Current Graphics card is actually installed in the AGP slot open the Main CPU unit and remove it then install the new card. If when you started the computer you saw anything on the screen, the DELL logo or Bios setup, the problem most likely is not the graphics card being bad but possibly that the settings in windows some how changed and it is set to something it can't support or the monitor has gone out. If it is the graphics card and it is built onto the motherboard you will have to install the new card and when the computer starts enter the Bios to change the BIOS settings to disable the on board card or it will give you problems with conflicting resources. Most graphics cards use the same resources so two cards in the same computer will conflict with each other and neither will work. I would test with a different monitor before replacing the graphics card.

I installed the ATI x1650 but the monitor is blank when I turn on

Yes the card does support the screen. If you have blank screen right from turn on, chack that you have not plugged the monitor into the onboard graphics port instead of your Radeon. If you have plugged it into the right port then you have hardware problems. Could be any of the following:
1. Monitior
2. Video Card
3. System memory
4. Motherboard
5. Powersupply
6. CPU

Try a different monitor and get back to me if you want troubleshooting tips.

Can't see screen to install diver for HP Compaq WF 1907

My friend just purchase this monitor yesterday. When she plugged it in to the back of the tower she received the same prompt u have mentioned. I was able to repair it because she simply did not realize that I had installed a new graphics card into her pc a few months ago. When u do this, you have to hook your monitor into the area where the new graphics card was installed. You can not plug your monitor into the same onboard card that u have previously plugged your monitor into.
Let me know, if by chance, u did install a new graphics card.
Hope this was helpful :)

Installing AGP video card

Don't boot with the monitor connected to the card. You need to let it boot into windows and install the drivers for it first. Once you do that, shutdown and restart with the monitor plugged into it and it should work.
