Question about Toshiba 50HP82 50 in. Plasma Television
I can help you with your Toshiba Plasma TV.
My first comment is that is your TV's boards are in good enough shape to display the 'now booting' message, then they may not need replacement. It is possible a Hard Reset of your TV will be enough to bring your picture back.
First, unplug your TV for a good five minutes and plug it back in.
Then, after plugging it back in, press and hold the POWER button on the set for 5 seconds to reset the TV.
My second comment relates to the model number of your set. I know it can be a challenge to find the correct model forum for posting here at FixYa. I notice that your post is under 50HP82, while I can find no reference to the 'now booting' phrase in the 50HP82 manual. However, the 50HP95 manual does mention that this message will be displayed upon startup until it can enter Standby mode. The more accurate your model information can be, the more specific our solutions will be.
I hope that helps.
