FELL ONTO DISHWASHER DOOR AND NOW IT WONT CLOSE.HINGES MAY BE STRAINED.HOW DO I REPLACE HINGES

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

It sounds like it could be an issue with the hinges. I would recommend having a technician come out to your home to diagnose your appliance properly. I understand that someone fell into the door and the hinges are not closing but there could be another issue with the door. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

Take it apart

To make a tool to remove the oval screws. Take a 3 inch hinge pin and use a 9/64 inch drill bit. Drill a hole in the bottom of the hinge pin about 1/8 inch deep. Make sure this fits over the oval screws. Take the hinge pin with the hole in the bottom and squeeze it together in a vice.

squeeze it a fraction until it will lock onto the oval screws. Use a vice grip plyers to hold the tool as you turn it, It worked for me. Bobby Rice

Leaking door on Bosch dishwasher

I DONT THINK THERE IS A ASSEMBLY MANUAL BUT THE DOOR HINGES IS LOCATED UNDER THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE OF THE MACHINE. YOU HAVE TO CHECK THE HINGE PULLEY THEN CHECK THE LOCK.

Dishwasher ''soft drop door'' mechanism came apart - door now drops

I had a similar issue as described by mc1bean. One day my Jenair dishwasher door just fell down. The right side spring was fine. The left side spring was still hooked into the door hinge but the cable was laying on the floor in 2 pieces. Over time it wore down and broke. I ordered just the soft drop cable. Now I could not find any installation instructions how to install the soft drop cable. After a few tries I think I got it right. Here are the instructions for hooking up the right side spring with the cable. The spring has to be hooked into the door hinge at the notch closer to the door. The end of the cable with the hook has to be hooked into the other side of the spring. The cable should lead from the bottom around the pulley up to the door hinge again. Now the other end of the cable has to be hung into the door hinge on the notch further away from the door. There is some slack, but it is not quite enough for the cable to get over the pulley when in rest position and undo itself.
I hope this helps others who have the same issue.

Door clips fell out

IF THE CLIPS ARE BLACK AND ABOUT 1 1/2 INCHES BY 2 1/2 INCHES THEY GO ONTO THE HINGES AND THE DOOR GOES OVER THE TOP OF THEM, YOU MAY NEED TO LIGHTLY FLEX THE SIDES OF THE PANEL TO GO OVER THE HINGES. THE TOP OF THE PANEL SHOULD SLIDE UP INTO THE CONSOLE BEFORE THE BOTTOM WILL GO IN. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT
