Try setting camera into Macro mode. Its the button on the rear which looks like a tulip. Press it again to return to normal shooting.

In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue. Just make sure that you get one that's stated capable of reading CF cards from your A75:

LCD picture veiw is runny like a runny film

Close up pictures are blurred


Try setting camera into Macro mode. Its the button on the rear which looks like a tulip. Press it again to return to normal shooting.

Out of focus pictures


Try allowing the camera to focus by pressing the shutter button halfway.  Wait for a beep then press the rest of the way to take the picture.  This should result in much sharper images.  If this helps please rate my solution.

Camera just froze up.


Try Rebooting the camera. Take out the existing batteries and insert some new ones. Then, turn it on and the lens should go back inside!

Flat cable between screen and r\mainbord damage. If you can open it check for eart wire to lcd if is tighten.
